Diana's Story

My spiritual journey began almost 3 years ago during that time I was on a journey of self-discovery.  Getting to know myself is probably one of the hardest things I have been doing in my life and I am not done yet!  One would think that this would be so easy to know oneself fully, but we have so many layers as humans and spiritual beings.  With Giovanna Kapsi’s help we worked on peeling back some of those layers which lead me to working with Reiki.  I was not prepared for the power of Reiki…talk about a spiritual awakening!! There are so many things that occurred within me and the world around me that I was not prepared for when I decided to study Reiki I.  There were dreams, synchronicities and a multitude of emotions happening within me and all around me.  I realized that I was asleep for a long time.  It was something I never experienced before.  After taking Reiki I, it was an easy decision to move on to the next level.  Again, the things I experienced the moment I decided to move forward in Reiki practice was amazing.  It is like the universe was shifting to show me past, present and future.  I am really not sure how to explain it fully except to say that it has manifested itself to me through all the things I mentioned before…the dreams, synchronicities and outpouring of emotions.  The awakening I continue to experience while practicing my Reiki on myself and others continues to confirm my love for this amazing blessing to be a part of a healing process.  How amazing it is to feel the experience of aiding someone, as well as myself, through touch and the power of Reiki.  It was like I had dark rooms within me that suddenly gained more light.  It is obvious I needed to keep going, learning, and growing.  My desire to work with energy healing lead me to inquire about an apprenticeship with Giovanna Kapsi, which began toward the end of 2019, after I completed Reiki II.  What an experience it has been!  My learning process has been ongoing.  It has included helping Giovanna to facilitate Reiki I & II classes with her as a student and a teacher.  As a student of Reiki I & II and then an apprentice observing others take the same classes gave me a great perspective and a deeper learning of the classes I initially took part in.  So, what do you think happened next? Of course, I moved forward with Reiki III and Master teacher learning.  What a ride!  I highly recommend taking any class with Giovanna because she is very knowledgeable, patient, understanding and willing to teach whoever is willing to learn, not to mention that she has an amazing energy and presence. I am full of gratitude for what I’ve experienced and meeting great people in the process, including myself.
